Ocean transportation

The containerisation of cargoes and changes in Ro-Ro technologies do not fully satisfy customer needs when transporting bulk cargoes locally. TMBCL’s presence as a broker and operator in the tramp chartering market enables us to offer competitive rates for sea transportation as an alternative to container logistics.

Agency agreements with liner companies servicing the region are designed to provide an all-encompassing view of maritime logistics. We are active in both liner and tramp markets, while our pricing solutions are justified on analysis of cost formation in alternative markets.

TMBCL is actively involved in managing period tonnage across Ro-Ro (700-1000 ceu) and bulker segments (handy size 28000-38000 dwt). We normally operate up to four ships on the water at any given time via 6-12 month time charter arrangements with the asset owners.
